Privacy Policy
Last revised 8 October 2026
Waive (“Waive”, “we”, “us”) is a third-party administrator of group health plans. This policy describes the personal information we collect through waivehealth.com (the “Site”) and what we do with it. By using the Site you agree to it. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
This policy covers the Site only. It does not cover the administration of a health plan we administer for an employer; that information is governed by our agreement with the plan sponsor and by applicable law, including HIPAA where it applies.
What we collect
When you contact us. The Site has no forms and asks you to type nothing into it. If you email quotes@waivehealth.com or book a call with us, we receive what you choose to send — typically your name, your company, your contact details and what you are asking about — along with the name, email address and time you give when booking.
Automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time of your visit, in order to serve the Site and protect it from abuse.
We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on the Site, we do not have user accounts, and the Site itself collects nothing from you unless you choose to write to us or book a call.
Cookies and embedded content
We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. The booking calendar shown when you choose to book a call is embedded from Google Calendar; opening it lets Google set its own cookies and receive your IP address, under Google’s privacy policy. Fonts and images are served from our own site, so ordinary browsing does not send your information to a third party.
How we use it
- to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote for your group
- to arrange and hold a call you asked for
- to administer coverage if your group later becomes a client
- to operate, secure and improve the Site
- to meet our legal, regulatory and contractual obligations
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Who we share it with
- Service providers who run the Site and our email and scheduling, and who may only use the information to provide those services
- Carriers, stop-loss underwriters, networks, pharmacy benefit managers and brokers where that is necessary to quote or administer the coverage you asked about
- Our affiliates, on the same terms as this policy
- Authorities or advisers where we are required by law, or to investigate fraud or a threat to safety, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business
Please do not send sensitive data through the Site
When a quote needs an employee census, we will tell you how to send it. Please keep Social Security numbers, diagnoses, claims and other health information out of ordinary email to us.
How long we keep it
We keep quote enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of the relationship, and longer where the law, a contract or an audit requires it. Information held for a group we administer is kept under our agreement with that plan sponsor.
Where it is held
Waive operates in the United States and your information is stored in the United States.
How we protect it
We use technical, administrative and physical measures intended to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Residents of California and of other states with similar laws have these rights by statute, including the right to know what we collect and why, the right to deletion and correction, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.
To make a request, email quotes@waivehealth.com with your name, how to reach you and what you would like us to do. We will verify your identity before we act, and we will respond within 45 days or tell you if we need longer. The Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
Children
The Site is intended for people aged 18 or over acting for a business. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Other websites
The Site links to other organisations, including our booking calendar and the Well Aware initiative. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised; continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept it.
